Deliverables is a psychological lens on your daily life.
Deliverables looks at the psychology of our everyday: the patterns and stories that shape who we are. Here, I explore attention, emotion and relational patterns, and how they surface.
And then I send it to you in a newsletter.
About me
Hi, I’m Shefali.
I’ve spent most of my career working in communications — across journalism, public relations, and non-profit work, in India, the United States, South Africa, and Singapore.
In 2025, I did an MSc in psychology, which reshaped how I understand attention, attachment, meaning, and identity in daily life. I created this space to share what I’m noticing about the hidden psychological currents shaping our everyday experiences.

The surprising psychology of noticing plants
I have a mode I call Modern Life Max. Maybe you have it too. It’s that sped-up feeling you get when you’ve spent hours moving from screen to screen, tab to tab, making lists and checking off things.
On a recent weekday evening, after many hours of work, I decided to interrupt MLM mode by taking a short walk.
My new weekly psychology newsletter is called Deliverables.
